Our bodies are made up of 70 – 80% water. The whole body functions much more efficiently when we give it the hydration required for optimal function.
All bodily systems move either water, fluids, toxins, vitamins, minerals biochemicals, neurotransmitters, immune complexes, hormones and/or energy through them. All these functions requires the body to be fluid so as to move everything to its proper place of utilization.
Water carries nutrients to cells, helps with digestion, and flushes out toxins. It also helps prevent headaches and fatigue, and can even aid in weight loss or maintenance. Staying well-hydrated is critical to our optimum health and survival.
Water is one of the most vital energies in the body. Dehydration causes the enzymatic processes in the body to slow down, resulting in tiredness and fatigue.
The blood, when hydrated is ~92% water. The blood becomes thick when dehydrated, causing resistance to blood flow and higher blood pressure.
Dehydration impairs the elimination of toxins through the skin. This makes the skin more vulnerable to all types of disorders, such as:
When we are not hydrated, our bodies will restrict airways as a means to conserve water. The rate of histamine actually increases exponentially as the body loses more and more water.
During dehydration, the accumulation of acid and toxic waste creates an environment where bacteria thrive. This can cause the bladder and kidney to be more prone to infection, inflammation and pain.
The colon is one of the primary regions the body draws H20 from in order to provide fluids for other critical body functions. Without proper water intake waste will move through the colon much more slowly.
All of our joints have cartilage padding which is composed mainly of water. So when the body doesn’t have enough water, cartilage is weakened and joint repair is slow contributing to pain and discomfort.
If we are exercising and sweating, we require more than our normal intake. Normal intake is approximately ½ your bodyweight in ounces. Increase by 16 ounces for every 30 minutes of workout or sweating.
Personally, I prefer to have mountain spring water delivered from a reliable source. Naturally occurring spring water is high in minerals from the earth. However, this source of water isn’t always available to everyone.
The next best option is a high-quality water filter that removes all the things we don’t want in our water. For example, fluoride, chlorine or chloramine are the main contaminants found in drinking water according to the Environmental Working Group (EWG).
It is good to research filters before buying. A lot of these filters remove the essential minerals our bodies require from water to absorb and utilize the water correctly, such as reverse osmosis (RO). If you have an RO filter it is best to re-mineralize the water either with an internal system or by adding himalayan crystal salt or other mineralized solutions.
Kangen water is an option, and is beneficial when alkalizing the body. However we must be cautious of depleting acidity in the stomach. When the stomach pH is out of balance, it is harder for it to produce enzymes and therefore digestion is altered.
Water pH is best at 7.0-8.0 pH and drank at room temperature away from meals: 20 minutes prior to eating or 2 hours post eating to prevent dilution of digestive juices.
Dr. Masaru Emoto, a Japanese scientist who revolutionized the idea that our thoughts and intentions impact the physical realm, including water, is one of the most important water researchers the world has known.
For over 20 years until he passed away in 2014, he studied the scientific evidence of how the molecular structure in water transforms when it is exposed to human words, thoughts, sounds and intentions.
The extraordinary life work of Dr. Emoto is documented in the New York Times Bestseller, The Hidden Messages in Water.
In his book, Dr. Emoto demonstrates how water exposed to loving, benevolent, and compassionate human intention results in aesthetically pleasing physical molecular formations in the water.
Water exposed to fearful and discordant human intentions results in disconnected, disfigured, and “unpleasant” physical molecular formations.
He did this through Magnetic Resonance Analysis technology and high speed photographs.
In other words, our thoughts, feelings, and emotions affect our reality by vibrationally tuning (or un-tuning) the WATER WITHIN!
More and more we are becoming aware of the pineal gland as an extra sensory organ that can see beyond the limits of the mind, aka the seat of the soul.
Fluoridated water is considered to be one of the leading causes of calcification in the pineal gland. Scientific evidence shows that pineal gland calcification decreases production of melatonin, creates imbalances in the sleep -wake cycle, and interrupts the circadian rhythm.
There are also 53 studies that currently show that fluoride reduces human intelligence and IQ.
At least 74% of the public water supply in the U.S. is fluoridated. The U.S. has more exposure to fluoridated water than the rest of the world collectively. Only an estimated 3% of the population of Europe consume fluoridated water.
So it is clear how beneficial it is to drink high quality pure water for optimal health and well-being. There are also shower filters available, just make sure the filter indicates fluoride and chlorine as particulates it filters out. Drink clean water for you, so you can be fluid in body and in life!
